As I mentioned in a previous post, one of my short stories won first place in the Writers Games, and their anthology, 72 Hours of Insanity: Volume 11, is now on sale! My story, “Black or White,” is included in it as well as the stories of the other writers who placed in each of the five categories. I’d highly recommend checking it out because these stories explore a variety of topics in multiple genres, so there’s something in it for everybody.

Participating in the Writer’s Games gave me the motivation I needed to get back into writing, so I have to give Writer’s Workout credit, again, for hosting such a wonderful competition. I will definitely look into again next year, and I challenge you to do the same. Nothing gets the creative juices flowing like a free competition with weekly prompts and subsequent deadlines!
